BARINGTON HOA - Maintained Villas near Rec.Area
A question still lies on the minds of many, “Why does The Barrington have its own HOA?” The Barrington is part of Northwood’s Master Association but pays an
additional fee to cover the maintenance of their lawns. Evergreen Landscaping provides an irrigational system and lawn care service to the residents of
Barrington.

Residents of Barrington please take note **Evergreen Landscaping monitors our water irrigation to keep our lawns looking lush and green. The water used in
irrigating our lawns is already included in our water bill, regardless of use. This past year, we had many residents turning off the water or changing the setting on their timers on their own. Please allow Evergreen to monitor our water consumption, as they know the amount of water needed to maintain healthy
lawns. This is NOT voluntary. Anyone changing the water irrigation system will be charged the cost of replacing your own sod if it is damaged due to your
tampering with the timers. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

To be more consistent and efficient, the Barrington home owner’s board has changed management companies from UPI to Communities of America, as of
January 1, 2006. The fee will remain the same; the difference will be in the way the community will be handled. It will make our lives in Barrington a little less
complicated since we know only one management company will be overseeing all of our needs.

Some of the changes this year will be: new sod in places that were in need of replacement (this was completed in November 2005), mulch will be
replaced in the spring, mailboxes will be replaced (pending approval from the HOA) and once the budget has been fulfilled, tree trimming will take place to
ensure the correct development of the trees in our section. Other items we would like to address this year are the sewer covers, which are in need of power washing and paint. If you would like to be involved with this project, please call Barrington President, Nancy Irvine.

A friendly reminder that it is your responsibility to power wash your house, as well as your driveway and sidewalk. To keep our neighborhood looking neat and
clean, we will be doing a power wash blitz in the spring. More info. Will be printed in the next newsletter.

Barrington would also like to put together a block party in the spring to welcome our new neighbors. Anyone wishing to help with this project please call any of the Board
