 There
were many decisions that were being made at the Pasco county level that
would greatly impact Northwood, at locations and time that were not
accessible to Northwood Home Owners. Pasco County Commisioner (PCC)
Mulieri, our district representative was appraised of our road
situation. After several residents made the trek to the Dade city
courthouse, PCC Mulieri and Chief Engineer Widman had a town-hall
meeting with residents at the Northwood Rec Area to answer and review
concerns. |
The meeting went really well, and a lot of concerns came
forward. As was usual at a gathering discussing
hot issues there were a couple of residents who came in
late, did not understand the prevoious discussion and
were immediately rude. PPC Mulieri took it in stride,
answered all concerns and took back several questions
for which answers would be provided. I have listed them
below and will provide answers as they come back.

2. When was this put on road
network or CIP.
3. School north west How will
traffic flow to school - what is impact of that
traffic on neighborhood

limit on Northwood Palms Blvd
5. How is county addressing the
issue of road causing division, and changing the
integrity of neighborhood.
7. There are several complaints of
street racers meeting, and racing wed night at target.
8. How did they do they do
it in the past, and why does county allow gates on
public streets.

1O. Can we continue using the
guard house, and automatic gates as was done for last 10
years.
11. Can they add median with
trees.
12. Can we install round-about as
in Seven Oaks.

How do we stop semi or delivery trucks from using our
road for shortcut. What is structural number of road.

14. Sub division collector 8O foot
of ROW 8, OOO trips. What is classification

16. Is this to relieve congestion
on arterial. Bruce b downs.
17. Must this be built.
18. Northwood is concerned
Hillsboro residents will use and damage neighborhood
roads.

22. Can Northwood stop road with
signatures as they are planning to.

northwood's impact

values, sub-dived neighborhood. Residents will not be
able to safely get to recreation area No ones been here
